Nylon 6I/6T And MXD6
Nylon PA6I/6T is an amorphous nylon resin which exhibits superior transparency, good barrier properties to gases, water, solvents and essentialoils and high temperature structural properties, which make it suitable for consideration in a number of applications.It was widely used in packaging industries,such as blow moulded containers, injection and blow moulded containers, non oriented filmoriented film, paper coating, and tubes, to enhance barrier properties, The introduction of PA6l/6T into nvlon 6 or nvlon 66 can improvesurface properties,shrinkage properties, and fiber emergence.
Compared with other engineering plastics, MXD6 resin has higher mechanical strength and modulus, and is also a high barier nylon material.The glass fiber reinforced MXD6 remains high strength at high temperatures, which could be used in cylinder blocks, cylinder coverspistons, synchronous gears of automotive engines. MXD6/PPO alloy exhibits high temperature resistance, high strength, and wealresistance, which could be used in vertical outer panels of automotive bodies, front and rear fenders, wheelhouses, and automotivechassis. MXD6 shows great potential in the field of high barrier packaging materials, mainly in the form of PET/MXD6 blends for thepackagina of alcohol,beverages,pharmaceuticals, and food.
