This non-crystalline nylon resin is distinguished by its remarkable clarity and potent resistance to gas, water, solvents, and essential oils, forming an effective barrier. Additionally, it boasts structural resilience at elevated temperatures, rendering it versatile across multiple applications.
In the packaging sector, it finds widespread application in crafting blow-molded and injection-molded containers, non-oriented and bi-oriented films, paper coatings, and tubes, all aimed at enhancing their barrier performance. Integrating PA6I/6T into nylon 6 or nylon 66 not only enhances surface qualities but also minimizes shrinkage and promotes better fiber emergence, further refining the material's properties.
