ORINKO Polyamide 612 (PA612) is a long-chain nylon, which is made by condensation polymerization of ethylenediamine and dodecanedioic acid as raw materials. The raw material dodecanedioic acid can be produced through chemical synthesis or microbial fermentation. ORINKO integrates PA612 forward and backward, with our own factories in backward raw material production, forward resin polymerization and polyamide compound.
Given its exceptional melting point, PA612 is ideally suited for automotive piping and connections that encounter intense heat. Its preferred use spans across coolant, heating, and climate management feedlines in vehicles, compressed air pathways in heavy-duty trucks enduring extreme temperatures, diesel fuel supply lines carrying hot fluids, and as distinct, high-barrier layers within multi-layered gasoline piping systems.
