Polyamide 610 (PA 610, Nylon 610) is synthesized through the polymerization of hexamethylene diamine and dodecanedioic acid. Appearing as a milky white to light yellow translucent solid, Nylon 610 combines the best attributes of both nylon 6 and nylon 12. Nylon 6 provides a higher melting point and superior short-term temperature resistance, while nylon 12 contributes low water absorption, excellent UV and chemical resistance, robust hydrolysis and zinc chloride resistance, and high flexibility. Nylon 610 is compatible with most standard processing techniques.
It can be widely used in the automotive industry, machinery manufacturing(ol containers, textile machinery parts), and in the electronicindustry for making battrey casings, instrument rails, etc. t can also be used as bristles of toothbrushes, monoflaments and cablecorerings, etc.lt can be customized in injection and extrusion grade according to customers requirements.
