ORINKO Polyamide 612 (PA612) is a long-chain nylon produced through the condensation polymerization of ethylenediamine and dodecanedioic acid. It possesses superior mechanical strength and modulus and serves as a high-barrier nylon material.
Depending on the formulation and viscosity, ORINKO Polyamide PA612 can be processed through various methods, including injection molding, tube extrusion, film extrusion, and blow molding. By incorporating additives, fillers, pigments, plasticizers, modifiers, or processing aids, ORINKO can tailor Polyamide PA612 to meet specific customer requirements and applications.
ORINKO Polyamide PA612 resin has a series of excellent properties, such as:
low water absorption
good dimension stability
high toughness, high strength
low molding shrinkage
excellent mouldability
It is mainly used as the primary material for producing brake hoses, fuel lines, corrugated tubing, quick connectors, and ABS sensor housings in the automotive industry, as well as flexible air conditioning hoses. Additionally, it is well-suited for surface coatings on wires, optical fibers, metals, and ropes. It can be processed via injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or powder coating to cater to customer requirements.
