ORINKO Polyamide 612 (PA612)
PA612 is a type of long-chain nylon produced through the condensation polymerization of ethylenediamine and dodecanedioic acid as primary materials. The raw material dodecanedioic acid can be synthesized chemically or through microbial fermentation. ORINKO oversees the entire PA612 production process, including backward raw material production, forward resin polymerization, and polyamide compounding, within its own facilities.
This versatile material finds extensive applications in the automotive sector, machinery manufacturing (such as oil containers and textile machinery components), and the electronics industry for creating battery casings, instrument rails, and more. Additionally, it is used in the production of toothbrush bristles, monofilaments, and cable core rings. PA612 can be tailored in both injection and extrusion grades to meet specific customer requirements.
In the realm of industrial machinery, PA610 components like gears, bearings, and housings benefit from its thermal stability, ensuring dependable performance in high-heat operations. Furthermore, PA612 serves as a viable substitute for PA11 and PA12, often used as a base resin for compounds.
