Thermal Properties: PPA exhibits excellent thermal stability with a continuous use temperature exceeding 170°C. It maintains superior mechanical properties even in continuous high-temperature environments of up to 200°C.
Physical Properties: PPA boasts high hardness, strength, dimensional accuracy, and low warpage. It also demonstrates good fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and creep resistance. Its coefficient of linear expansion is minimal, ensuring high dimensional stability.
Chemical Resistance: PPA is highly resistant to various oils, including gasoline, diesel, engine oil, mineral oil, and transformer oil. It is also resistant to most chemicals but is sensitive to strong acids and oxidizing agents. It is soluble in phenol and cresol.
Electrical Properties: PPA has excellent electrical properties, making it suitable for electrical connectors and insulating materials.
Processing Properties: PPA has good processing properties and can be processed through traditional injection molding methods. It is also less sensitive to moisture.
