PA612 is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer from the nylon family. It combines the properties of PA6 and PA12, offering a unique balance of performance and processability. Key characteristics of PA612 include:
Excellent Chemical Resistance: PA612 is highly resistant to oils, fuels, solvents, and many other chemicals, making it ideal for automotive and industrial applications.
Low Moisture Absorption: Compared to other polyamides, PA612 absorbs less moisture, which helps maintain its mechanical properties in humid environments.
Good Dimensional Stability: With reduced moisture uptake, PA612 provides better dimensional accuracy and stability over time.
High Strength and Toughness: PA612 maintains excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, and toughness, even under extreme conditions.
Wide Temperature Range: The material exhibits good thermal stability and can perform effectively in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C.

Chemical and physical properties:
The chemical and physical properties of PA6 are similar to those of PA66; however, it has a lower melting point and a wide process temperature range. Its impact resistance and solubility are better than PA66, but it is also more hygroscopic.
Since many quality characteristics of plastic parts are affected by hygroscopicity, this should be fully taken into account when designing products using PA6. In order to improve the mechanical properties of PA6, a variety of modifiers are often added.
Application Area：
It can be widely used in the automotive industry, machinery manufacturing(oil containers, textile machinery parts), and in the electronic industry for making battrey casings, instrument rails, etc. It can also be used as bristles of toothbrushes, monofilaments and cable corerings, etc. It can be customized in injection and extrusion grade according to customers requirements.
